In 2022, the Estate of Patrick D. Pagnano made their first donation to the Briscoe Center for American History, located at the University of Texas-Austin. This donation established the "Patrick D. Pagnano Photographic Archive." This contribution included a portion of Pat's commercial work.
The goal of Patrick's estate is to showcase his talents as a photographer and provide a way for Pat's work to be accessible to be viewed, as photographs should. We are ecstatic to be partnering with the Briscoe Center in establishing this photographic archive and look forward to contributing to it on a regular basis.

“In 1980, the acclaimed street photographer Patrick D. Pagnano went on assignment to document the Empire and its legendary cast of partygoers. The resulting photographs, gathered in Empire Roller Disco for the first time, capture the vibrant spirits, extraordinary styles, and sheer joys of Brooklyn roller disco at its dizzying peak.”
